Nicholls State University publishes clear statements concerning student rights and responsibilities and disseminates
this information through a variety of methods.
Code of Student Conduct
NSU's Code of Student Conduct contains information regarding student rights and responsibilities
[1]. It is reviewed, revised
as necessary, and published annually. It is available online and in the following campus locations:

University Studies: The Code of Student Conduct is distributed and reviewed in all University Studies classes.

Residence Halls: All resident students receive a copy of the Code of Student Conduct.
|
|
|
Student LifeDiscipline: When a student is referred to the Dean of Student Life or the Judicial Officer for infractions
of the Code, another copy of the Code is given to the student, and the procedures applicable to that student are reviewed.

|
Academic Colleges: Hard copies of the Code of Student Conduct are sent to each college for accessibility to students.

Nicholls State University Bulletin
The Bulletin contains a specific chapter that clearly describes students' general rights and responsibilities

The Bulletin is available online, and free copies are distributed to all students through Freshman Orientation and reviewed
in University Studies. Copies are available for purchase through the University Bookstore. Office copies are available to all
departments on campus upon request.
