Graduate Studies, Residence Requirements

To satisfy residence requirements, a student must earn at least two thirds of the semester hours of degree program credit in residence at Nicholls State University.

To ensure compliance with University residence requirements, Nicholls uses an electronic student degree audit [5] which verifies that graduates have earned at least 25 percent of the required hours in residence for their intended degree. Candidates for graduation are notified of deficiencies that need correction prior to graduation approval.
