Narrative

Nicholls State University does not award academic credit for course work taken on a noncredit basis. However, Nicholls does administer credit examinations to students who claim special competence gained through practical experience, extensive training, or completion of courses in non-accredited institutions [1]. In addition, students may earn up to eight hours of health and physical education credit for military service, given the physical requirements of the military [2]. The University's Bulletin specifies how credit may be earned [3].
